Optical instruments for direct sunlight.
NOXA builds sunglasses the way a lab builds instruments. Every frame is specified, measured and tested in direct sun before it carries our name. Bold shapes, no decoration, nothing that does not do a job.
Single-block Mazzucchelli acetate, milled rather than laminated. Thick enough that the edge shows the full depth of colour.
Mineral glass lenses with a polarizing film. Scratch resistant and optically flat, with no wobble at the edge of vision.
Tumbled and hand polished in Cadore, Italy. The finisher's initials are stamped inside the left temple.
Six frames. Three colourways each.
SS27 is a closed set. Each silhouette is drawn once, measured once and produced in limited runs.

Same sun. Four filters.
Drag across the plate to compare the naked eye with each NOXA lens. The curve shows how much of each wavelength gets through.
Built heavy, on purpose.
Thirty percent more material than a typical acetate frame, so the shape holds its line on the face.
Hover a part · drag to turnTested where the light is worst.
Every frame is worn for a full day on the Mojave salt flats before release. These are the records.
